I was confused by the lack of promotion & views for the song until I saw a comment that it's a cover. I looked it up & the original was by a '90s boy group called Solid, for anyone else who didn't know. According to their wiki page, they were active from 1993-1997 & again from 2018-present. Apparently it was this song that brought them widespread popularity, 2 years after debut. Bom's cover is definitely not a "copy" of the original & also doesn't sound like someone robotically singing someone else's song without any feeling. I find most covers have one of those two problems. Bom has truly made it her own & given it an updated, modern sound. I wish this had more exposure as she really deserves it.
