I appreciate the effort you took to take clips from the previous dev videos to make it clear exactly what expectations were and what AGS committed to before the past week of announcements. They've taken so many efforts to try to hide the game's history, whether by closing & deleting the official forums or re-branding the game with a different title, and I suspect they thought that switching to a video-only format would make it harder for people to point to their failures/lies. Videos like this are important so that potential players can make an informed decision about whether to invest their time & money in any game run by this studio.

I for one am sick and tired of them taking area's away from us! I don't want Cutlass Keys to be a lvl 65 zone!! and I don't want to accidentally walk into a Forced PVP Zone, I Don't PVP! I want it to stay the way It has always been, It's how I farm some of my season quests, and where i fish!! not to mention if you didn't buy the expansion, you now lose Cutlass keys completely! how is a lvl 60 going to go to a level 65 zone?

That's a good point. I think they look at the map and find zones that have low activity (which is all of them currently haha). These devs are out of touch and have been since the beginning. I would suggest migrating to a different game. This one has been on a spiral downward for a long time now. What they could be doing is placing events in each zone to enhance interaction. Theme parks are notorious for one and done locations. That should change...

I’m still new to the game started a couple weeks ago and honestly only have experienced a few bugs which I just reload and fixed outside of that I still think the game has so much potential and going forward if we can make it to next year on the content coming out I have high hopes. A 10 player raid feels really good because here’s the thing it’s probably a test to see how it does and boom maybe we have 1,2,3 10 man raids or maybe they use mutations to make it more challenging i can get behind that. Console release is still very positive it opens up the player base more and hopefully ups the demand for content and qol I’m going to stay positive here and hope for the best

That's typical of mmos, having a gear chase with annual gear resets. Keeps the game fresh. But most games will do it when they add content. Re-farming 725 by doing all the same old content isn't going to create much excitement.

When they released the picture with all the content coming, I was of excited. I will come back for the 10 player raid to get the 725 gear. I just hope that the raid is exciting. Also the PvP zone could be very good for the game. Their originally 30 minute announcement was really disappointing tho.

The only thing i learned in this video is that new world is solo game and they came out with some more stuff for solos to do that leads to absolutely no progress or satisfaction. They just repeat the same questions and answers over and over. Same answers for every single question.

I just got back into New world. Leveling up again. i am taking my time. Very much difficult to do early level dungeons since no one is doing them. It seems that when the update happens they are creating fresh servers again. Lets see how that goes.

Well, we can thank them for their thumbnail pictures on the June update screen. They will go great on the dart board. Scot gets Bullseye honors. They had over 1 million players at start up and now down to 5k. Who is going to recommend the game on console?

I’ve moved on from New World as my main game. Still play it on the side occasionally because the PvP combat is still unmatched. Let’s be real, this game/update isn’t for the current 7000 concurrent players, or roughly 30,000 monthly active users. They need new money. This is the only chance they have left to redeem their project and the game studio as a whole. Hoping they can get their heads out of their arses and actually deliver quality updates with real content from here forward. Doubt it. We’ll see though, I’m not holding my breath.

Bringing in consoles with 30% of global video game sales is a good move from a sales aspect and at this point it is the right one to bring in new players. I haven't played in a few months and will probably jump back in at launch to see what's what.
