Synopsis:
Baghban film is a tale of a of a family where the parents (Amitabh and Hema) sacrifice everything to nurture their four children, only to be left uncared for when they grow old.
Raj Malhotra and his wife Pooja have raised a family of four sons who are now nicely settled in their respective professions. Their life is filled with love and prosperity, and all this has been possible because Raj has invested all his income including his provident fund and gratuity who according to him are his assets that would secure his future. But when he retires, life suddenly changes.
None of the four sons is ready to take their parents responsibility. To the extent Raj and Pooja then depend on the kindness of strangers. How Raj Malhotra through strife and hardship overcomes this turmoil and comes up a winner is central crux of Baghban.

I just love this movie …. I use to watch this with my ma Yashoda every time …. The love hena malani has for her hubby …. They have there grown up kids… but romance never fades away …. There’s no kissing scenes which means respect to the audience watching but respect to the person u claim u love too ( kissing is a part of secual Intercourses ) … and the message is powerful …. Kids respect ur parents …. When our parents have everything they give it to there kids…. But when they have nothing …. Kids will either put them in a old age home or mistreat them…. Never disrespect your parents or your partner …. If you want true love and happiness …. Learn to keep your loved one happy …. No matter what they are like …. I can watch this movie 💯 and never get bored ….. I love it ….

Loved Amitji and Hemaji. This movie is an adaptation of NTR and Anjali Devi's Telugu movie from 1972, Badi Pantulu, which was based on Kannada movie "School Master" 1958. Telugu movie has little Sridevi - Loved the telugu movie with buckets of tears but loved Hindi version has it's own originality and grace. . The story is still releavant from 1958 with the original Kannada film.. Because, love, greed, gratitude and entitlement are never dated; have not changed much from any cutlure or country.
