I think jay is quiet only with Jessie. No any other artists worked with him said that N Jessie need someone like jay who stay back n listen what his artists wants. If she is with someone always loud, it will be chaos n it won’t work for long run. Not everyone stay loud n energetic everyday in real life. Is it just me? This feels so raw, that is, an honest talk with Jae-beom and Hyun-ju about the future that they look forward to. Initially we can see Jessi wanting to liven up the mood like in most variety shows but Jay insists on keeping it simple without music and all. I can feel Jay oppa trying to comfort the anxiety and uncertainty that Jessi unnie feels being new to the company and all. When he said that regardless of how people receive her new album, everything will be fine. He implied that she let go of what she can't control given that she did her best in making the album. Indeed, this is the mindset that got Jay Park to where he is. "Do what you do best and chill." Of course, it's easier said than done...like what Jessi said about all the comparison and pressure from everyone, that is, to do better than her past self. I appreciate the fact that this is Jay not shielding Jessi from any negativities in the future but him opening up a different perspective that'll save her from overthinking. This is the real flex I think... to do what you do best and then let go like riding a parachute. Now we know why Jay Park looks so young and unproblematic. The best skincare is healthy mindset ;)

I don't think it was awkward at all. I think JPark wanted Jessi get deeper about her expectations and where she sees her career going. Since they know each other off camera he probably wanted her to express both sides of herself. How smart and professional she is. All that will be shown when you express the depthness of your mindset. Therefore he gave her that room without interrupting her which was very important. In as much as she wanted vibes, obviously knowing that JP is also about vibes hence she mentioned she expected the talk not to be too serious. However, it's important to have that balance and to know when and how to act in certain situations❤
