He announced on Dec 31 2021 that he was stepping down as CEO of AOMG & H1ghr Music, on Jan 1 2022 he released this song, his fan base went into a tailspin we were freaking out bc we weren't sure if he was retiring bc he talked about it so much, then he preceded to delete his IG account, he disappeared for a bit and a few months later he announced the launch of his new label MoreVision and his alcohol company Won Spirits, currently that's his only label, the ppl at the end were the artists from AOMG, his first label, to this day there are alot of Jaywalkerz that can't watch this mv bc it's still heartbreaking even though we of course know he didn't retire

This was around a time ppl just followed a big ass bandwagon creating stuff and I believe he also mentioned a lot that he barely slept for a while and was highly stressed because being the CEO he wasn’t able to break because it would be also total panic if he did. He also mentioned that it also overlapped a lot of his work and he wanted to be able to do more music and his artists who were also his friends to be able to see him also just as a guy and not their boss. I think he probably sort of burned out. Around this time he had been mentioning a lot of retiring I think people’s comment kinda went in his head that plus exhaustion and no rest for years and years. He chose to step out for both label he created as the CEO I think he’s still like consulting and stuff and he’s also still going collabs with artists with artists still in the labels. He now owns more vision which i believe turns to be more global and provide a new age of trainees and stuff as he also been vocal that the trainee system back in his days was almost breaking his love for music so I believe he’s gonna change the norm in the future. Still glad he didn’t retire tho we really see now he’s a bit more at ease kinda
