genius....I am always nicking ideas and making them myself . love the way you straightened the wire.. .. my only comment would be to add shrink tube to any raw edges , just keeps it sleek .

Thank you Kevin, glad you enjoyed it. It's just having the time to be able to think things through, adulting doesn't allow us to do that all the time😜 Straightening the bar is an old electricians trick😉

Mate, they're perfect, just chuck a bit of electrical shrink wrap over the joints and it will look shop bought. Also, genius way of straightening out wire, I'll use that in future for sure, i've got a brake rod for my motorbike that i've been meaning to straighten out for ages, so now i know how.
@Anglingaddict754 жыл бұрын
Thank you kindly👍 Ya would need something over the joints their a bit pokey.😜 I hope the board and drill work for your break rod, I'd be interested to know how it goes, let me know how you get on. Thank you for watching👍

Have you had the H & S on yet saying it's not strong enough for casting 🤣
@Anglingaddict754 жыл бұрын
Not on here Adrian, but yes I have 🤣🤣 the steel that is used in whisks is the same as what a store bought bagnall would be.. I did do that research! No, it's not going to cast 200 yards, but it will work close in👍
@moontym4 жыл бұрын
200 yards I think I'm up to 100 on a good day 🤣🤣 so should be ok I'm gonna have a go at one and play dumb when the wife asks where the whisk is nice idea by the way 👍 Oh and I would be prepared for some Bill's sent from irate wives for new whisk 🤣🤣
@Anglingaddict754 жыл бұрын
@@moontym ya I'm about the same at distance, if I have the wind behind me🤣🤣 I wouldn't recommend "tournament" casting with it that's for sure. 👍 I'm prepared for a few wives to comment soon! Especially with all the anglers chomping at the bit😁 Let me know how it works for ya!
