Back in the 1970’s looking at Isabel on her plinth outside the railway station as a young Stafford boy, I asked my Grandad a who was a former W.G. Bagnall boiler maker having started with the company in 1931 if Isabel would ever run again? He said that he doubted it as she was just a static museum piece, and nobody would be interested in restoring her. 50 years later and her she is, doing what she was built for. 👍😁
