Caron Cloud Cakes / Reviewed and worked up

Just ordered a bunch of the Caron cakes, trying to figure out how to smuggle them into the house without my husband seeing them. I got the cloud cakes, the tea cakes, the crystal cakes, and the lava cakes. I'm super excited to get them but they were all on sale today so I bought 27 cakes.... I need to get busy. I can buy yarn faster than I can crochet!🤣🤣

😂 We are kindred spirits. Although lately I do less sneaking because I now justify my yarn habit, because: I don’t get manicures; don’t color my hair; don’t do Botox and I’m not a lady who lunches. So there. 😝. I’m actually saving money by buying yarn.

Wow it's crazy how much the cost is a year later since this first came out. It was $9.99 ,today it is$12.99. I love that scarf Crystal, it's beautiful. Everything is beautiful thanks for all you do.

My all-time favorite was "Sheep-ish" a 70:30 acrylic:wool blend. I made so many gorgeous hats with it using the "women's peaked cap" pattern from... Caron, iirc....

Crystal, you are nuts! You look great in a slouchy hat!!!. That yarn is beautiful too. Also, I want to say I love that you have no affiliations with any yarns. Even the lion brand yarns coming out you will not be profiting from...it's that you have such a good heart that is so appealing.

Love Caron Cakes now that I have watched your reviews on them. Im no longer allowed to buy anything else. No way of sneaking them into our home either. Used to get my extended family members helping in buying whatever i needed while on sales. However hubby eventually found out i was hiding them in middle bedroom in bins and boxes. I no longer buying anything. Money is very tight due to one last child in college still. Enjoy seeing your video's I learning so very much. Yes ,I touched this yarn as soon as I opened the box and it is soooo soft OMG I love these cakes and Michaels had or has them all on sale!!! I have the same problem as Angela and every time I try to curb my yarn buying they force sales on me from everywhere 😮 so I buy more. I have however been good for quite sometime now😊 Crystal your scarf is beautiful I love that it's very long, a front load washer on delicate would probably be ok.

OMG I just opened mine and holy COW it's soooooo incredibly SOFT!!! I think it's the softest yarn I've ever felt and the cakes are HUGE!!! I only got about half my order, the rest is coming Monday. But just.... WOW!!! I gotta make an afghan out of this!!!

I just received my order of 2 cakes. Even with it being roving style, it doesn't seem like a 4 weight; I'd say it's a solid 3 weight. Softest yarn on the planet, I won't argue that!

I think this yarn feels like a cashmere button down sweater that my grandma gave me 45 years ago. I always hand wash it and lay flat to dry. It has completely held its shape and condition all these years later. Wearable all year, no itching in warm weather! So I Love ❤️ this yarn ❣️❣️

Oh you always have every video I need! I am in Canada and went to michels yesterday and saw this wool on sale, from 15,99 to 10,99 (cnd prices are always so shitty..) and it was like one of the softest thing I've touched ,ever. I couldn't think of a single time I've use polyester wool so i wasn't too sure what I could do with it so I didn't buy anyway. And here you are again, with all the answers I was looking for!
