It's because the drones don't play a chord that works with jazz/blues. She's only play with one drone so it's not the same as most bagpipes played for traditional Scottish music.

Gunhild is awesome. However it should be known this is a cover of a Rufus Harley song, the likely first jazz bagpiper ever. If you like this, I suggest listening to the original.

That's not really fair. Some are oriented to being able to pick up anything and play it, and most aren't oriented to play anything. That's what makes it so special.But I've got another one for you about truth that an old work colleague gave me after he turned me on to Habanero peppers and the Scovall scale for hotness.
