I'm 5'2 and I have speedy 25 mono and speedy 30 Damier ebene. Speedy 30 is sometimes too big for my body type even though I am thick/curvy frame.. You would be surprised how many items you can fit in the speedy 25, check it out at the store, it might work for you! Minks, I can honestly put a water bottle, mini iPad, make up bag, wallet, keys. Thank you for this video and giving so much knowledge in this community. Fan here!!!☺️

Minnie this was a Fantastic video and l know what your saying when you talk of that unicorn bag,mine was my Vintage Chanel Jumbo,it took me about 2 years to find the perfect one and when l did l was over the moon,but like you it sat on my shelf for about 1 year and everytime I got it down l just could not use it,I just couldn't,so it them took me another 4 months to be strong enough to sell it which l did (only last month)and I am very happy with my decision.I think we have go go through this process sometimes to then go on and make the 100% correct choice,Xoxo.

Minnie, you said you might add a pochette back into your collection. But you don't want to scratch the gold plate on the Eva DE, you don't like the vachetta strap from the Eva monogram. May I tell you what I got that I loved? I got the pochette NM in DE and then got the DE Eva strap! No gold plate to deal with and no vachetta to worry about it! I still got the smaller strap that came with the bag as a clutch and the price for both the pochette and the strap is cheaper than a Eva alone! It's been amazing! I can wear it as a clutch and a crossbody! I love it! Hope this kinda solve your Eva gold plate/pochette/vachetta problem since you've helped me so much with my LV questions!

Top video Minksy! Totally agree, it is up to personal preference. I love my Eva and speedy m/c and enjoy using them. I actually find I don't use my Chanels enough. I am going to start rotating now!

So great to hear a youtuber talk about losing money on some bags and being realistic as I had a huge clearout of my bags and sold them for next to nothing! eBay is so hard to sell on and people were hounding me till I sold for next to nothing!😕 I would have loved to have bought your vernis Alma!! Totally relate to rolled handles. I never owned the Tivoli GM, but I had the Lockit Horizontal, and while it was a beautiful bag, the rolled handles drove me nuts!

I also have a multicolour speedy 30 in white. It's battered and worn and I don't use it a lot anymore but I still love it so much :)

Did you sell your damier azure Saleya PM for the rolled handles issue as well? I have the damier ebene Saleya PM and damier ebene Saleya MM; I wish the handles drop length was slightly more, so it could fit comfortably as a shoulder bag for me.

No, it was definitely due to its size and just like you said, I wish it could have gone on my shoulder :)

I couldn't sell my damier ebene Saleya PM because it was a 30th birthday present from my husband, so it stays forever in my collection for its sentimental value. But that is why I purchased the Saleya MM last year (again in damier ebene because that is my favorite canvas and I live in a part of the country that sees quite a bit of rain). Lots more room in the Saleya MM, but the handles are about the same as the Saleya PM (I think the Saleya MM eventually came in 2 models during production, because some photos showing the same Saleya MMs have longer handles than my Saleya MM). You could squeeze my Saleya MM over your shoulder (not over a coat or heavy knit sweater, etc.), or someone with a tiny frame would wear it as a shoulder bag. What a bummer. I bought the damier ebene Saleya MM pre-loved in mint condition and had it re-lined by LV, gave it a new zipper, etc. (~$300 for the repairs) to give it a complete 'brand new feeling' since the bag is retired. I will try to use it at least a few times before I decide whether to keep it or not. It sure is beautiful! The Saleya MM has a great shape, very study and structured, love the zipper capability, unlike other LV tote-style bags.

This is a fantastic video.Thank goodness somebody else smiles when they look in their hand bag..... Thought it was just me. I love the sag of a speedy too, the resale market is tiny in the uk compared to the us so off loading bags that don't work can be trickier and a costly exercise, gutted about the Alma's you lost money on. Think she needs a little tweaking, she's looking a little dated.xx

Oh My goodness.... I never thought I'd see the day that you'd get rid of your two Alma's. Both gorgeous bags, but I understand why. For me, the Speedy isn't a "practical" bag. That crook of the arm thing is NOT for me at all. I still love the bag but had to sell my Damier Ebene 30 only months after using it. The sag that makes the bag lose structure is what I'm not a fan of. The Speedy sags on the bottom only and doesn't flatten out as others do.
