Dave I absolutely know how you feel mate, I fished Sycamore peg 7 on Saturday (2nd Sept) and was fishing the same method/bomb and the pole and I had ONE roach on CORN but it was really calm and hot on Saturday and I’ve never known it fish so hard. Sometimes we just scratch our heads and put it down to the moody fish but it’s still good to see you travelling to my local fishery and hopefully will bump into you one day down there

Didn't like the look of the peg when you go there that wind coming in put to much chop on the top of the water looked cold too, I though you would get a couple coming round the corner the long island as the day went on but like you say they moved out to the other end. And after my pole section snapped like that would have too it as a sign and pack up and went home mate chin up Dave lad.

Gonna repair my pole section this evening, only mine snapped when a monster carp decided to bollock off at 100mph at 90% under a low over hanging tree and i didn't straighten out in time, bad on me for being too slow. Didn't realise there was a festival there its only down the road aswell. Hope the next day went better. I hate big winds they should be banned, lets blame everything on climate change. Its like the bloke who pinged my motor and didn't tell me and climate change made his car spontaniously combust. 🤣🤣🤣👍🤘🤘
