Well fished Dave. So unlucky with that lost Carp.If you watch it back (not that you would want to).you will see that when you landed it, the rim of your net was resting on you keepnet which meant that the fish was not in the main body of the net. It flipped its tail and said cheerio. Shame mate but just one of those things. Cheers and good luck. Cheers

Unlucky David, so important that anyone watching a match stays well back of the match angler, either the chance of spooking the fish or causing the angler to loose concentration.. I was attending a match ( as a spectator over easter) but stayed well back and gave the angler that I was watching the space he needed, well he went o to win the match..👍👍

Unlucky mate but the way the hold the mesh on landing net, was always going to happened .. everytime u do that , I think one day its gunna jump and go bk in .. and finally it's happened.. I hate the technique u use to unhook the fish .. but I love ya channels Why don't u put the landing net inbetween ur legs and do it that way 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I bet Alan had a good laugh 😢😢

You paid the price for failing to concentrate on the job at hand (unhooking the fish & putting it in the net ) during your banter session Maybe a slightly larger landing net is required as well looks like you were only using an 18 inch net either that or a deeper net so the fish drops further into it Good job it was only the practice and not the final though I remember the time you thought not to weigh in on a match .Mistakes happen to us all Worst mistake in the last year for me was failing to weigh or photograph the largest Crucian I have ever caught .Kicked myself for weeks
