Unlucky mate, 1 small observation and Roy says it regular, you never fed enough. When we first started fishing the glebe it was all corn , I'm taking 3/4 catering tins or trays of corn. Its changed a bit but you need to fish positively always at the Glebe , once it's warmed up. We have been coming down for the last 10/11 years and have 4 dayers and never fished it negatively although we come down July/August. I would have had that cad pot full of 6mm pellets every drop. Anyway mate, next time your at the Glebe. Fill it in 😂

That was a bad day at the office okay. Those sort of conditions make a bad peg even harder but no matter what if you couldn't get them Dave they just wasn't in your peg. Better luck next time pal it's days like that what keeps us going back for more.

Great Vid Dave, to win at The Glebe is always going to be very very difficult for most of us. Can I just say that for example me myself, I have a match pb of only 129 lb, I know i could catch say upto 140 to 170 - BUT I could NOT with any accuracy or certainty say that I could catch 250lb or more of fish in a match. So take your match PB and ADD 30/40 lb on top as an achievable match weight, THEN look at regular match venue winning weights, Glebe is always going to be 250 MINIMUM during the summer, with place weights well over 170lb. With this in mind the idea of fishing a Fishomania at the Glebe for me, would be totally pointless. The Glebe is a fantastic venue for sure and a great match experience, but be realistic, if your match PB is 130lb you have no foundation upon which to even consider you can frame overall, as such paying to enter Fisho comps at The Glebe is a total watse of money IMO (other than for the crack), if you are lucky, with a pb of 129lb one might get a section win at the Glebe, but that is realistically about all you can get. Motto - A - Work on upping your match PB's, this can also be done by setting 5 hour pleasure/practice sessions at venues. B - Only enter matches that have winning venue weights of say 30lb of your PB match weight. C - BE honest with yourself.

As you said fishing can be tough at times you can be on a good peg but if the fish aint pjaying the game theres bugger all you can do about it just sit suffer and take your medicine and hope for better luck next match
