Giving verbal thanks is politeness but to try to live according to the admonition , advice, and truths embodied to this profound talk will eclipse all our longing to be an eloquent expounder of the intricate spiritual teachings of our Faith. Be the teaching not a preacher.

I've considered for years now that Bahá'u'lláh didn't want women to have to make the sacrifice of serving on the House of Justice. After all, no one runs for this office. They just get elected from the Bahá'í world and have to leave their jobs and move to Haifa to serve on the House of Justice, a world body that must take up most of their time. As Mr. Taherzadeh points out, a woman would be torn between family obligations and cares and her duties on the institution. Men may be torn, too, after all, but not in the same way women would be.
