HELLO VIEWERS! Thanks for all the nice comments and the strong viewing numbers on this video in just 24 hours! I have to apologize for those who follow the narration closely..... there is an opening section in the video that is missing a short introduction to the show. Basically, we are picking up from Part 1 which was two days in Bimini, and now we are all headed off for the next four days with a lunch stop in Chub Cay, and three night stay at Atlantis, with a super cool boating daytrip to Staniel Cay and Pig Beach at Big Major Cay. Not a Race. Poker Run is a game of chance...Each team gets poker cards at various check points...then we pick the best hand and give prizes to the winning team. Its a fun way to go boating but nobody gets a prize for going fast!

I blew a fist size hole out of the lower. Other 2 engines gave me 45 knots the rest of the way. weather was good for the ride back from bahamas

Shumi always with a KEEN EYE!! Yes indeed, "Sidechick" had a motor problem with a Merc 275 but still managed to run the 36 Deep Impact on the two motors for the rest of the trip....and all the way home!!

Steve Peck, sorry just seeing this. Its a nice place but we will never go back, very poorly managed to the point where I lost a LOT of money by trusting marina manager to take care of my unit rentals . He should focus on the dock slips and not try to rent villas. Use VRBO more selection .. But the place is boring all day and all night and you cannot get to any casinos or restaurants nearby without half hour cab ride. Just to to ATLANTIS, more action, more fun

This is a BIG PROBLEM in our sport! Accidents can happen in any kind of boat and at any speed. We promote safety all the time, but some people just have some bad habits and they won't follow our guidelines. But as an organizer I can only push so far... they are grownups and responsible for their own actions.

Use radar at all times even if your just cruising in the boat how would it look in court after a crash Radar is not required on vessels under 1600 GT (33 CFR 164.35), however, Rule 7 states that proper use shall be made of radar equipment if fitted and operational. In other words, whoever has one must use it. The Navigation Rules are not meant to discourage the use of any device, rather they expect prudent mariners to avail themselves of all available means appropriate...as to make full appraisal of the situation (Rule 5), e.g. the use of radar. At issue is whether the use of radar is appropriate in the prevailing circumstances and that is a determination made by the Master; and, ultimately decided by a trier of fact. Should you be in a collision how would a judge/jury rule on your contention that the use of radar was impracticable (due to electrical drain, crew shortages, etc.)? Also, if a collision does occur, then there was obviously a risk of collision beforehand. Could the determination of that risk have been made sooner with the use of radar? It is difficult to answer such questions because the circumstances of each case are different. More importantly, remember that Rule 7 specifies that assumptions shall not be made on the basis of scanty information, especially scanty radar information.
