Before Covid we use to wait about 20 mins because so many Russians stay in Jomtien but worth the trip as Beach is Great and plenty of Palm trees for the shade. Top Tip the Bus on the way back stops across road from Bus Station where the buses come from BKK and goes all along Second Road and then up Central Road for the Princely sum of 10 Baht. Great Vlog cannot wait to be back for Songkran 2022 🙏❤️🇹🇭

It’s fun going up and down the double s bend Pratumak hill on the back of a bike taxi or even in a baht bus (always fun to see if the driver changes down early enough to get up round the corner (Trevor, you missed the entrance to Sugar Hut, really lovely food, a bit more expensive but well worth it in my opinion just for the setting and service and of course the food is delicious). I am amazed at the amount of comments about the price being 20 baht for the ride, I’m now retired but I don’t think I would worry if it’s 10 or 20 baht, even at 100 baht it’s still cheap

Always walk up to soi 15 or Diamond to catch the bus, If you get on a bus on the corner of second road, where they wait,you could be stuck for 20/30 minutes for the bus to fill up.

That's the exact same trip I've taken many a time; however, I've always paid 10 baht. I've been to the Cove twice, good Thai food, but a little pricey, small selection of craft beers. I think they sometimes have live music, but not while I was there. The bakery you called out I always pick up a few pastries when walking by. Like the lamb pies at Tinnies and there is a good deli stand down that road along Tinnies.

If you passed the intersection and got off later, the fare was 20 baht. That's what I have always paid, and the drivers have never complained.

Great video! I always rent a scooter but last time the guy I rented the scooter from said I damaged it which was a lie. If you rent a scooter always take pictures of the scooter before you drive off. The scooter and jetski scams are common. The bus around Pattaya is convenient and cheap.

Hi, I was 2 weeks in Jomtien and had not seen ANY videos from Thailand and when I asked the Bath bus drivers the price they all said 200 Bath, but the owner at the hostel told me to jump on and pay 10 bath. But I like walking and prefer walk then I see more then bath bus and scooter taxi. I wasn't there for more then knowing local people and didn't date anyone. Have now seen many of your and others information video. And are ready for visit Thailand again, I loved the country, people and weather good.

There was a Finnish restaurant called Menuet about 10 years ago where Tinnies Gourmet Pie is now. I have stayed at the Siam Bayshore hotel a couple of times. It wasn't always easy to get a baht bus ride to Jomtien from the hotel because most of the baht buses had just been filled to capacity before they departed for Jomtien.

The baht buses start their run where the construction was at the beginning of the video. They wait until they are filled before moving out. Usually about a dozen buses will line up waiting and move as soon as they fill, so easy to get a seat if you don't mind the short walk to there.
