As a Baiken main, nothing fills me with joy more than doing H Kabari follow up into a fast RC grab, and getting a braindead easy safe jump with iad backwards tatami because of tether Truly the best

I think they don't use the safe jump because while it is genuinely amazing, safe jump oki is blocked pretty often in high rank, so most go for some left/right/high/low shenanigans with cross up okis. Just my observations anyway

from my experience, they only dont do the safe jump if they want to catch you off guard with some jank. otherwise, it doesnt make sense to not do the safe jump because you guarantee oki while also setting yourself up for the high/low/throw mix.

The thing about youzansen is good players start to block it and punish you. Baiken has very low health so a blocked youzansen can lead to you losing 50% health. After youzansen you have to RC to make it safe and avoid eating a 50% combo.

That's why if you see that they are blocking high you do 2D instead.

Great tutorial. You play very well. Keep going, we need more videos! The game is awesome, I want to play Guilty Gear so freaking much, but I worry, my old laptop will not handle it! Hey, maybe you hear something about Boosteroid? This is a cloud gaming service. And they have Guilty Gear in the game library. Do you know if Is it possible to play games with this service without problems? It would be cool if you make a video about that🙏🙏

i dont think anything like cloud gaming will fix potato hardware. You can buy the game and see how it runs and then steam will refund it if you have less than 2 hours playtime. if you keep it, there's low spec mods on sites like gamebanana that would help performance even more.

would not recommend using a game streaming service for Strive, as any input delay can kinda kill your ablilty to play. as mentioned before, there are mods to remove some of the unneeded assets (backgrounds, particle effects, etc.)
