Portuguese has to be the most beautiful language in the world. I was enthralled back in the early '70's, hearing Jobim's music. Have most of his albums, along with a fave of mine - Stan Getz, and all he brought to the sound. I do understand a little, speaking a little Spanish ! We're so lucky to have access to these albums now. For me? It's again. I love it.

Nice version, congrats. Altough we have nowadays more accumulated than bossa, its understandable how this stream impacted the musical scenario of the world and keeps strong. "Desafinado" (how ironic that it means "off-key") has for me been *that* song since Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd recorded it back in the early 60's. I think I must have heard every recorded version since then, and now this... Elio Carletti, the Italian impressionist, once said that “Beauty is a summation of the parts where nothing needs to be altered, added, or taken away.” By that definition, the NOVA version is pure Beauty. Beleza, Encantamento, Perfeição. Obrigado do meu coração, NOVA.
