Our bailer always spent more time in the shop than at work, 😂. Thanks for the video! 👍

You are a patient man! Love seeing you work and explain how it works and the history of the machine! Thanks

I some how missed this one until now. That's a Nice old baler. Spraying with Oil makes a big difference. Now put a JPaydirt sticker on it and it will behave itself! Love the Umbrella! Makes a difference. Looks Good Too! TGP

those bales bring back a lot of memories - I spent my early years on a farm and we used the bales to build us a house and a privy and for equipment storage - rough sawn scabs from a sawmill with tar paper on top for a roof. That was 65 years ago.

On my New Holland balers the center support for the PTO was adjustable. It's nice you have a wire tie, the supply of bailing wire is getting desperately low on most farms lol. Looks like it's making nice bales!

We always squirted oil on the wire on our old 348. Seemed to help.

Nice job 👍 Blue will be happy that he's going to be taking care of. Had 24T john deere square baler. Was a good baler. Down sizing equipment scrap guy coming. Perfectly good Case 930 Comfort King. To bad Digginok was just a little closer.

We run a #46 International twine baler. Broke 1 needle and turned the other into a horseshoe last year doing straw after a shear bolt went and the stop dog didn’t catch the plunger. But, we’re together and waiting on dry weather to do hay here in Missouri. Love my old equipment.

Well if you are not going to name the new dog "Jeff" can we name Jeff Anderson "Bluepaydirt"? 😁 I've done a little hay baling. Fixing a knotter on a baler can teach a fellow a new vocabulary. Good video.

My Dad had an old New Holland baler that wouldn't tie for crap. One side was fine but the other was junk. It took some new parts, a book, and about 3 hrs to get the knotters adjusted. It did good after that.

I love watching you work on a haybaler with a pair of pliers. My dad was a farmer and he carried a flat blade screwdriver and a pair pliers his pocket knife and a worry stone everywhere he went. He got killed in 1993 and we put all of those in his casket with him. You and dad would have been great friends.

I can identify with that, we lost two barns to a tornado in May, and my JD 336 square baler is sitting out by the shop, turning a lighter shade of green. Haven't used it yet, we had been feeding round bales, but goats seem to waste at least half of them, so we were going to try squares. (Of course, now I'm remembering how much work loading and hauling square bales was from 50+ years ago, when the high school coach would find hay-hauling jobs for all of us every summer.)

I think Blue got tired of you calling him Jeff, so he stuck his nose in the paint to show you "My name is Blue!
