De allerbeste Baithakgana zanger van Suriname ooit. Zijn top was de jaren 1962-1970 als lid van Oranje Band van Dew Mangal en op de Dhool, Remy Mangal en zijn beschermheer en idool was Diepnarain Benie. Zijn rivalen waren toen Jagdish Oeditram (ook lid van Oranje Band) en Harry Sewbalak. Maar de Bhagwa(tijger) was Ramkhelawan.
