[Not hitting the southern wall won’t turn back] - “不撞南墙不回头” is a Chinese idiom describing a stubborn person. The ‘southern wall’ refers to a decorative screen wall often found in front of noble houses in ancient China. Because of this wall, people had to turn left or right to go out, or they’d hit the wall.
