Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. We were throwing full intermediate, but with the right fly/leader combination I can see how a floating line would be great. Advantages to both for sure.

What kind of setup? Intermediate line? Floating? What’s best from the beach?

9' 10 wt rod with an intermediate line. Short stout leader to turn over big flies. At least that's what worked for us from the beach.

+1 subscribe mate!! ;) Probably the best baja rooster fishing video on youtube!!!! Can I ask what lenses did you use for the shooting? Did you shoot most of the film in high fps?Those slow-mo parts are just superb!!!

Thanks so much! We had a ton of fun on that shoot! We shot most of the film in either 60 fps, or 180 fps. Most of the shots were shot on a Panasonic GH5 with a metabones speedbooster adapter and a Tamron 24-70 lens.
