A month ago, my ABS stopped working. While I didn't prioritize getting it checked, I recently had an accident due to this failure. Thankfully, I'm okay. Your informative video about ABS maintenance made me realize the importance of regular checks. Before taking my bike to a mechanic, I actually got it washed. Surprisingly, the ABS started working again after the wash! This experience makes me suspect that cleaning the ABS sensor and rings might be crucial and done in intervals before going to mechanic

My bikes at the service centre and they've told me to change the abs motor which costs 20k. Problem is it gets jammed while riding but when its idle the brakes engage. Is there any alternative?

I have 2018 dominar and facing the same issue. When I checked on the machine (at bajaj service center) , it was showing abs motor malfunctioning. So my qns is, will i have to check the abs ringn sensor wires or directly get motor fixed?

Have you fixed the issue now? I am having the same issue with my 2017 dominar and showroom people is saying to change the ABS unit. I am sure those guys will not do the thorough check and they just want us to change the unit.

Every show room will obviously change the unit, repairing cost will be expensive for them to rub the showroom. They have heavy salaries to pay to the technicians. Hence there are private garages and solution given in the vlog

without inspection cannot commit. Take it to service and let them check. could be the wheel bearings, incorrect chain setting or Bad calliper

My bike was having some issues due to which I was facing stalling issue while riding the bike so I had to take the bike for service centre. They had by dominar for more than a week but still they are unsure about the cause of the stalling issue but somehow they fixed the stalling issue but not the problem I am facing with the tyres This Friday I am taking my bike to the service centre again, let me see whether they will fix the issue or not atleast this time.

I have recently faced a weird issue on my 2017 dominar 400, the abs motor was replaced a year ago and now suddenly the abs light will randomly come on and goes off automatically, I dont know if my motor is the culprit or not, it sometimes doesnt show up on the dash and sometimes it does

Its difficult to come to conclusion without inspection. you may start with 1. inspect both ABS rings, if there are any bends or if they are loose 2. Wheel Rims, inspect if they are not aligned. 3. Tyre Installation - check if its not aligned with the rim any where. 4. Any Loose Fuse or Socket or Chopped ABS wire or Wires going to ECU and back. let me know what is the outcome and we can then discuss further.

Engine RPM has nothing to do with ABS Working Once get the bike diagnosed on Company OBD tool U will get the exact issue As Dipen said Check ABS ring too if its slightly bent

I have 2017 Dominar 400. If i aggressively pass 10kmph it will turn off the abs light for couple of seconds and then turn on. But if i pass the 10kmph slowly then abs light wont turn off. However if i press break in couple of seconds that abs light turn off. The abs is working i tried couple of times both front and rear abs worked in that times. But after couple of seconds abs light turns on and abs not working. (Also even if i didnt press brake it will automatically turn on the abs light after couple of seconds. So i think its not abs motor problem)

I guess, Language issue. It's approx 1800 as of now in pune at @skautocare - I am not sure if any one else does the repair Job, Bajaj Dealers wont repair. they will ask for replacement.

@@prithvirajpatil312 that's because now it's almost all like new. With usage, it will become softer. Also in rains, the lube gets washed away from lever bolts, so they don't operate smoothly and also there is water and dust on brake pads, that also reduces the brake power
