These bikes aren't legal in India. Once you're caught, You'll be fined heavily and multiple cases will be registered. You Maybe booked for 6months to 2 years. Vehicle will be ceased and the complimentry thing will be (The original owner of the bike brand may File a Case against you for violating corporate patent copyright.) And maybe the brand you've modified in will also file a case for Copyright infringement under International Law as well IPC468,103 and 104 provides for imprisonment for a term not less than six months which may extend up to three years and fined not less than fifty thousand rupees which may extend up to two lakh rupees. If all goes so 5-6 years Jail Permanent Licence cancellation 2lakh fine. Don't run for modifications. If you really have love for those bikes. Work for it and then get it.

Absolutely right, and if you are caught in any accident. You can't claim any insurance due to modifications. Remember the Audi R8 which had caught fire on Worli Sea Link during Parx Autocar Show in Mumbai worth 2 Crores. The R8 owner couldn't claim for insurance as company found some modifications in the vehicle. So work hard and get the original.
