I like how respectfully the Master treats his students who help him demonstrate the technics. So many samples in the net who need to demonstrate their deadly power on students.
@endlessstudentmapsy89532 жыл бұрын
That's because none of this deadly. Just a way to control students who work with master to make master look good. I would think the best way to test these techniques is to actually spar, semi full contact, against people who actually know how to set up and throw kicks, punches, and who have decent counter striking skill. This will fail with even a mediocre Chinese Sanda Fighter

@@endlessstudentmapsy8953 I love to compare martial arts/sports with car racing. While MMA fights can be compared to Formula 1, the self-defense arts are more like Rallye sports in rough terrain. If you take advantage of this, you have a chance. Maybe not in a cage, but in an everyday situation.

Master Miyahira, Tamotsu !!! I love his lessons!!! Really Amazing! 👏👏👏
Very good video these movements and kicks are very common in several chinesse martial arts and the Sifu in this video explain them excellent congratulations to him and his students. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thank you for this Video. I really like the explanations easy and simple ( once you understand what he means) , to later use in your own Training. He also seems to be a good Teacher. I really like the whole Kuro-obi-world concept , please keep up that amazing work. Now i only have to find an Bajiquan Instructor where i live.

Thank you very much for your insight and sharing your knowledge ,I would like to add to minimise bruising and blood clots there is training techniques to make your blood move much more quickly around your body and cause much less damage , also you can make your body grow more blood vessels and capillaries to make your hands heavier and help recovery much quicker.Also building up to steel would be a better way ,to minimise damage starting with mung beans in a bag I hope I was some help in the minefield of martial arts

Any issues with repetitive injury? (e.g. arthritis or nerve damage) It is heavier than some impact training, but not quite as hard as striking fixed steel poles and rocks.

Good training for self defence...be uploading videos thank u
This is very nice Bajiquan. Sifu Tamotsu seems very knowledgeable and effective at his chosen style. I wonder if Sifu Tamotsu also teaches Piguazhang which is usually, but not always, taught along with Bajiquan as they compliment each other extremely well. The only concern I have is that he seemed to be proud of the fact that his student had visible bruises from their training including red and swollen fists. In my experience that isn't something to be proud of as it indicates improper training and a serious lack of injury prevention. I am curious if Sifu Tamotsu has his students applying Dit Da Jow or even some form of Iron palm/body liniment before and after their daily conditioning routines. Back in the day when I trained the Shaolin arts, like Northern Praying Mantis, and Hung Kuen, we always were taught and expected to use Dit Da Jow every training session to prevent bruising as well as injuries that can cause permanent damage including nerve damage. All of us still had minor bruises but we used Jow by rubbing and massaging it into our arms which made the bruises completely disappear in a day or two. The internal Kung Fu styles I train now, use a form of internal iron body conditioning that doesn't require hitting and banging your limbs into objects the same way they are shown in this video in order to get the same results.

@@EliCharts true. Doing any of these things to the point of using it effectively in a real situation requires at least 100 hours of repetition - more if you actually want to control someone and not just hurt them. That probably is a bare minimum. And then you have to KEEP doing the practice or you'll lose it, including the physical ability to do the moves. One thing I like about this sensei he mentioned in a different video is that he likes doing Zhan Zhuang, which holds a "clue" for knowing your body and how to not hurt yourself during training. I started standing zhan zhuang after that, and I am noticing less issues with training. Might be coincidental, but coming from sensei who claimed he's only hurt himself once during training for 30 years, I am intrigued to learn more.
Buen sistema de golpe y endurecer tus brazos me hace recordar el okinawa karate pues creo el sensei también practico karate y hoy reúne las dos disciplinas Kung fu y karate muchas gracias por estos videos saludos desde Chile amigos..kuro obi..
