The answer for question @19:45 is so perfect. "I use my frame to displace your frame", this is the perfect explanation I've been looking for. Thank you!

Hopefully all of the good martial artists will start demystifying....magic like notions of some martial arts.... Maybe one day...a Chinese language scholar ,will sit down and tell us of the first noted down mention of these words... Fa Jin...nei gong..chi gong... And how these words are used ..now and then... And then a scholar translator give us the English equivalent by the big dictionaries...webster's .oxford and Beijing's dictionary...so we all know what is this fa Jin... It would blend in nicely to speak the same language...to understand the language use of martial arts words .. Great video once again and nice conversation !

I mean, it’s good to ask about this. The way I was taught what each of those terms mean: FaJin is basically explosive power or bursting power; Nei gong or internal energy corresponds to being aware of your inner organs and how bring about the best power in the best position, and chi gong is mainly more about having proper breathing to generate power when striking/kicking/blocking/grappling and the best breathing to recover when you’re tired or just getting hit. I learned this from Vincent Mei, my Bajiquan teacher, and watching Adam Chan videos since does some chi gong exercises for longevity and combat.

Greetings, I'm a big fan of Bajiquan. Interestingly enough I'm studying a Japanese Body Guard Jujutsu style from the Takagi Royal family, Takagi Yoshin Ryu. As for Baji Fajin, it appears to be very similar to how I learned to do Chen Taijiquan Fa Jin. Any thoughts on similarities between Chen Taiji Fajin and Baji Fajin?

I love Baji approach of using the whole body as weapon. No other style teach and develop tackling and shoulder strikes to this point.

Most of the northern arts have the same ideology as Baji. Especially the arts that were utilized as a bodyguard methods.
