This is an adaptation to urban music from cities around them. Baka, or Pygmees, have a more genuine and poetic music they use to play everyday under trees, in the deep equatorial forest where they live in Cameroon, Congo, Congo DR Central African Republic, and Equatorial Guinea.

Elle vient du fin fonds de la foret èquatoriale du Cameroun et des àges, produite par les Baka, Pygmees, peuple de cueilleurs musiciens autochtone de la foret dense èquatoriale, present dans tout l'espace que couvre cette foret en Afrique equatoriale ( Cameroun, Congo, RD Congo, Gabon, Centrafrique, Guinee Equarltoriale). Mais c'est une adaptation à la musique urbaine de ces pays. Les Baka ont une musique originale plus poètique et moins prosaique.

It is the act of playing music that is important to them not the music produced. Fun, laughter, celebration evokes a positive spirit, all will be well and the forest will provide. For the Baka that is what music is for
