Bakara being the most graceful drunk ever

I LOVE Bakara. I love her so much. There's a lot of reasons I like her: Her design, her fighting style, her personality, and mannerism. But what really drew me to her was after loosing that second battle with Julith and everything going to crap she gets completely hammered and stays hammered throughout the climax. I just found that so hilarious but also kind of endearing. So why not do a highlight reel of all her drunk escapades?

The Wakfu series (at least the first two seasons) are a blend of flash and traditional animation which is insane considering it aired on tv! The Dofus movie I believe is animated by hand. It’s truly amazing how the studio has evolved. Really hoping we get another movie.

On top of the drunken slurring, she has a slight "Ch'timi" accent (that she doesn't have when sober) which is a dialect from northern France where the animation studio is located. Let's say it's not the modt dignified french dialect, and it's usually used for comedic effect, given how unintelligible it can be even for french people.

The thing I like about her character is that she is someone both has human flaws (not just the drunkeness but other stuff) while still trying to do good. Moreoever, she is also willing to see her own faults. Next to Joris, she is the heroine in the story. Sure, she messes up and her bad side gets the worst out of her, but no matter how hard her ass is kicked, she gets up and keeps trying. And more than that, she is willing to confront herself. Oh and the way she treats Joris is nothing short of admirable. She said that she's her aunt now and she MEANT it, never in the movie does she deliberately fail him, taking hits for him and doing everything in her power to protect him.

No wonder, Tvtropes says it's a prequel spin-off to Wakfu. the movie did not work because the universe is both complex but with crazy references, names/words which are puns, quite heavy humor especially on the sexual allusions which are too present and the target is not not defined enough (for families? children?) only fans can understand the story and lore. But fans didn't support the film. So there will be no sequel.

i was able to watch this movie in full... i honestly dont understand why it didnt make more publicity or make as much as they were wanting. it was a beautiful movie and story. The characters were all great and you grew to like each and every one of them. and in the end, it was equally beautiful as it was emotional. one could say that it was a story about love and just how truly powerful of a force it is.
