Hi Molly, I'm a somewhat new subscriber here and I just wanted to say that while I am not religious, I really admire your grace and maturity in how you are able to view difficult situations. I just turned 28 and while my life is not how I thought it would be, there are so many things that were not planned within that last 2 that were such positive things. and I often have to remind myself that it's okay for my life to not look like other ppl my age, like it's fine, and in fact, it shouldn't look the same because we all want different things and go about our lives differently. I too also find myself incredibly grateful for the small things. I live rent free in an apartment that's part of the house my parents own. And I'm able to care for cats I rescue from the streets. Some days I just look around my home and I cannot believe how unbelievably lucky I am to have food, a cozy sofa, privacy, etc. I'm sort of rambling now so I'll end it here :') P.S. I love the top that you're wearing, looks very cozy, and the pattern is cute!

Wow thank you so much 🤍🤍 Aw I’m so glad you’re here!! I know exactly how you feel about being behind or not where you thought you’d be! And then it’s hard to see your friends around you get or do exactly what you thought you’d be doing. Sigh. I love your thoughts on gratitude though! That’s so sweet and honestly when you put it that way, it sounds like your life is one from a movie! 🩷 It truly is the little things that make life so good. And I really think we are exactly where we need to be!

Clickety-clack and now crunch! 😆 I love crunchy sugar cookies w/powdered sugar icing. Good job Molly! My Mom, Grandma, and Aunt wrote out recipes like your Mom did. We treasure them immensely! My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story and fave song is O Holy Night! To answer your question: this is always a sad time of year cause I miss my Mom, so not feeling much joy. I feel my feelings, practice gratitude, do my best and know it passes. God has a plan. OMG not helpful, but real. Enjoy the snow, we're getting it here in MI as well! ❄❄❄❄❄❄

Aw I love that, how special 🥹 I’m here with you in this sad happy holiday! I’m so sorry you’re missing your Mom 🤍 Truly little things like Christmas cookies, songs, and movies get you through. And like you said! Knowing God has a plan! I also think of Heaven soooo much more now and it makes me look at life so much differently, which I’m grateful for! My husband loves A Christmas Story too! And I think I thought of my favorite Christmas movie!!! The Little House on the Prairie Christmas! It always makes me cry 🥲🌲

Thank God for God and Community!! I pray you guys find a community that encourages you to share your burdens with one another, confess sin and be able to point you back to Jesus! Love your videos so much, they bring me a lot of joy !

Aw yes! I 100% agree! Our goal for 2025 is to finallllllly dive into a church community! We keep dipping in and out but we have great Christian friends and family supporting us in the meantime. I think getting in a community will help us a ton with healing this next year 🤍🤍

❤ I have been walking with the Lord for a long time now. There has been a lot in the Word that I have begged for Him to explain to me. And He has. I have been thru a great many things. I have never left Him behind. And He has never left me behind. Our shared love thru my seasons of trials and tribulations has shown me the joy of the Lord. There is nothing else in this world worth holding onto. ❤️ (My favorite Christmas movie is definitely "While You Were Sleeping"!)

I think with finding joy you have to give yourself grace. We live in a fallen world where things are imperfect I think it leads back to fully relying on God and the plans he has for you. I know it is difficult but we have to stay in his word and not rely on our own understanding. By the way, tanning beds are so relaxing.

I agree! It is such a joy to know that we are in HIS plans. We don’t need to know everything that’s coming next 🤍 And right?! It’s my favorite when I get to go!

California 🌞🌞 I don’t know but I think I have lived long enough to see that he is the Joy and we live in a fallen world, that’s why Jesus lived in a physical body and he understands our pain 🙏
