I know that set. I talked to that guy about it a lot. I think I still have the bookmark from the guy that was selling it before you. I still think it could be a Arthur Popper. He did the dice trays like that and the points style.

I’m under the impression that by the 1950s popper’s patent had expired and lots of board makers were using his design. But I’m excited to see this previous seller, if it wasn’t the person I bought it from or me, lol. Thanks that’s very cool.

@@jimsutherland2010 The guy used a eraser on the backgammon word while I was talking to him about buying it from him. I was going to use a ink removing detergent and swab to save the finish under it. If it reasonable I will still really like to have it. When I was talking to the seller on Craigslist he said he had made a deal and would not take my offer.
