Baker is just really positive energy. I'm a Cleveland fan and I've never followed a quarterback after we've traded him. I follow and watch Baker whenever I can. I love my Browns, but I proudly admit I'm a Baker fan. I hope he does well in Tampa.

He won a playoff game for the Browns. Which means he also got the Browns into the playoffs. He needs to be in a situation where he’s appreciated and has stability. He can be off the radar here, and in a very winnable division, in a wide open conference. It’s about as good a situation as he can find. I wish him the best..

His worst decision so far was not having season ending surgery after the shoulder injury he was coming off a playoff season and had a top 5 QBR until the injury, I blame the browns front office and coaches

Legit number one pick. This guy is going to be successful if the front line can give him 1 second more than they gave TB12 last season. He has enough quickness to roll out of the pocket and stretch the field like Mahomes and run for a few yards if needed. Great opportunity for Baker. Kyle and Blaine are both decent QBs but Baker will definitely start in September.

I think it's awesome that Baker Mayfield is playing inn Tampa. I grew up in Clearwater FL. And have always kinda pulled for the bucs even though I'm a cowboys fan. I have other players on many different teams I pull for and want to see do food things and win. And I've watched baker since the draft and he was a blessing to the Brown's. He actually gave them a chance a few years back. Lately he's had some bad luck but I believe he has found a home. I How he takes them all the way. Unless they play Dallas. Lol. Hopefully they'll do better this year. But win or lose go cowboys.

When he came to Oklahoma as a walk on and earned the starting spot, he proved he was a different breed. All great quarterback play depends on a Great TE, look at all of the Superbowl Champions. If we have a TE, everyone will have a great season!

I have always said about Baker. Yes he believes in himself BUT he NEEDS to have coaches that believe in him as well. He hasn't had that . Stefanski did in that year in Cleveland that they went to the playoffs but then Baker got hurt the following year and Stefanski gave up on him. Panthers was just a fluster f**k. That coach didn't believe in him he just had a hope in him. Mcvay Believed in Baker and Baker responded and did well with a team that was playing second string personnel. So heres to hoping the Buccaneers coaches believe in him and call plays Baker is comfortable running

HUGE upgrade loooooool! Winston by far is more talented than Baker! Baker will never put up ppg like Winston did. Baker is 2-8 in the last 10 games as a starter 10 tds and 8 ints. Baker should be humbled he's able to be on a team. Hopefully Kyle Trask wins the job! Baker won't even be a good mentor for Trask due is poor leadership traits. Which displayed in Cleveland and Carolina both teams said NO THANKS....4 teams in 9 MONTHS!

Both of these takes seem pretty extreme. As a huge baker fan since college, he is not top 5 and his play doesn't put him near there. He has had bad circumstances, but a top QB makes a team a playoff team no matter what. That being a Winston comp is pretty fair and they seem comparable especially considering both of their ups and downs in terms of years and both of their problems with interceptions.
