Baker can play. His first healthy year since 2020. When he's healthy and has a supporting cast he can play. He's a good NFL QB. Not elite by any means but good.

Baker is really “snappy” in his footwork, mechanics, and in his release. He processes very quickly. I have to remind myself he’s a former #1 pick, he has legit arm talent and traits. I hope he puts it all together and that we found something with him 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

I know he isn't your favorite but thanks for covering Baker cooking the pack. I am excited for Baker possibly not having to learn a new offense while also being relatively healthy. I think under such conditions Baker will continue to thrive especially with actual legitimate weapons on the outside. 24 TDs 8 INTs with the 29th ranked rushing attack is not shabby in the least.

Watching this as a Packers fan just for the memes and to see how bad the defense was. That being said though, I'm a fan of Baker and he definitely played a nice game. Looks like he found himself a good home and now the Bucs are actually running the ball decently well too. Who the hell would've thought!

What I feel like people forget is we can see everything from a birds eye view. The QB is in a first person view, masked by dudes 6” taller than him on avg. it’s incredible honestly how the shorter QBs are ever effective.

I can't believe you didn't call out the safety on the left hash at 37:00. I guess you were kind of busy trying to work in all the other busted coverages in this video about the other teams QB, so I can see how it might not make the cut. I got this one. What does he think he's doing? He's 30 yds deep and backing up on the throw, and there's not even a deep route on his side. On 3rd and 4. Who could he possibly be trying to cover? He might as well be in the locker room.

Meh. Made Mahomes look bad. #10 defense in passing yards allowed, tied for #14 in passing TDs, and 11th in sacks. They really aren’t terrible on pass defense. Maybe Baker is just better than people think and had a good game.

From this analysis ya gotta wonder why every QB who plays GB doesn't walk away with a perfect QB rating and NFC player of the week. But they don't. TB is not running some sort genius next level 3D chess offense that made GB look bad. Baker made it look like they were. Everyone is talking about the crappy GB defense but cmon. Not everyone is throwing 4 TDs on them. This video does little to explain how Baker succeeded better than other QBs against a bad defense.

I mean, this was the second week in a row that the QB facing the Packers D won offensive player of the week. And honestly, they haven’t faced a lot of quarterbacks who are even decent, and the few they have faced have pretty much carved them up. Herbert’s stat line would have been much better if his receivers wouldn’t have dropped 2 or 3 touchdowns. The only really good QB they actually did a good job against was Mahomes.

@@Beragon And 10 carries for 71 yds. And he won offensive player of the week, which was one of the things you said you’d expect to see happen to people playing against GB’s defense. Regardless, it’s not like it’s impossible for Green Bay to have played especially bad on Sunday. Your whole point is, whether you realize it or not, based on the assumption that the defense plays to the same level every week and the only difference in outcome is dependent on the opposing offense.

I don't follow it that closely so I'm sure y'all will correct me, but it sure feels like Baker is being singled out to diminish his achievements more than other QBs are.

It's because JT fully enunciates his words when he speaks and certain audio programs will occasionally over-digitize vocal sibilance of words with a harsh "T" "S" "B" ...I'd never noticed it in JT's videos, but if I did & I had a problem with it, I would get myself a pair of noise canceling headphones instead of actually asking a content creator to revamp their entire ADR (voice over) process so that it better suits my personal comfort based on the headphones I'm using. 🙄🤷‍♀️🥱

Bakers time to throw this game had to be a half a second faster than season average. Canales gave him quick after snap decisions to make, and Baker abused the soft zone and took MOF all day. Just started the vid but trying to see what adjustments Barry made cause watching live it didnt seem like much changed over course of game

He's really not progressing as much. He's never gonna be a great thrower like that. His legs are his biggest asset and most highlights are of him running truthfully. Your not gonna see him throw tight window passes often. He can't read the whole field and hes not very good at anticipating throws. It's just truth but that bieng said he's a great running QB and player no doubt
