Yeah I always have to think of that interview when a social worker gave a candid interview (unrelated to this case) and talked about how lucrative this whole market is, that it unfortunately attracted also the wrong people and that one case worker had to supervise a ton of cases. Most foster parents do it first and foremost for the money, fair enough, but authorities should probably rethink if it's wise to treat foster parenting as a full-time salaried position.

​​@@Missvlog89 The biological mother rushed one of the boys to the hospital because he broke his leg, a case worker happened to be there and suspected that the mother abused him , turns out that the boy actually fell and broke his leg but the mom had to take parenting classes & the case worker had the boys removed & placed into foster care, the mom completes her classes but the foster parents had already started the adoption process with the help of the case worker, the biological mother , went through so many avenues to get them back but her requests were ignored & denied and they were adopted nout to the west's anyway. One child said that another claimed to see one of the boys die, others have said the boys did move house with them it's very confusing. I think one of the biggest problems is the state and county paying private agencies to manage foster cases. The private agencies are paid to oversee these children’s home lives and often do a horrible job at judging the character of the adults who apply to provide care. We really need to put more money into this system and require extensive psychological testing. We need to disqualify adults who aren’t making enough money to provide their current family a comfortable life. There are so many more things we can do to help ensure a safer environment for these poor children.

It was reported at the time the other children were with grandparents so the couple could prepare Christmas presents but this couple couldn't explain why the 2 boys were not staying with the grandparents too. Yes, the trial is on day 19 I believe, but no replay or video was permitted up until this point. Prosecution actually just rested. People were only able to listen live on the court audio feed, but apparently the judge allowed it to now be broadcast so everything you see now already happened 2 weeks ago. Wait, why the hell is the state paying people to adopt kids. I can understand providing funds and resources for foster parents, because the goal usually is a safe and secure placement (as much as possible in that situation) for children until they can be reunited with their parents or other family members. But for someone to adopt them, they should be doing it with the intention of wanting to raise that child as their oen for the rest of their lives.......which includes wanting to provide them the things they need that costs money. Sounds like they are insentivizing the permanent displacenent of a child from their parents. So my question is, how much does the social workers and others involved get for each adoption? Where does the money come from? Obviously the tax payer but who is the middle man? This is very strange and wrony to me.

The trial is actually almost done. The prosecution has rested and defense just began their case in chief this week. Up until now, the only coverage was live audio feed from the court. Replay was not permitted. Apparently, the judge changed his mind

Everyone involved in this adoption should be tried and put in prison. The judge that signed the final decree, the caseworkers that placed those boys, every single person that didn't stand up and ask, "What the hell are you doing" should also go to prison. Who adds two children to a family that already has four kids, and no income? Eight people in a small apartment? Even my 5-year-old grandson can do simple math... Everyone involved in this adoption is culpable for their murders.

I believe unfortunately that they will be acquitted for second-degree murder due to lack of evidence and insufficient Police work however, I do believe that they will get convicted on some of these child abuse charges just hoping they don’t get out for time served because these two people are monsters, and his son, who testified against them is going to be terrified for the rest of his life of these two people are walking the street.
