@tehspankrer you have the layer selected with the pen tool right? if its still being weird, trying looking at the top of the screen, there should be a fill, stroke, and px option. let me know if its still not working

You click on your clip go to masks and under masks there should be something that says mask1 to the right of it there should be a little box that. Click it and go to add. If you wanted the oppisite side of the mask click subtract or invert. Yourwelcome :)

i saw this one transistion where it like isolated the intervention at the end of a trick shot and switched to another clip where the intevention was in the same spot and the camos went from blue to red tiger very smoothly so i wanted to know what you would call a transisiton like this and could you reproduce it in a tutorial? thanks

How do you add motion blur to a composition? I have to create my comp and then make a new comp with that comp and then add rsmb for it to take affect, I can't just add rsmb to the first comp for it to work. How do you do a motion blur on a comp with out duplicating it?

please help. when I mask out something in after effects, it leaves behind a light stroke under the line i masked. i can't find any option to turn the stroke to 0 px though!

That means that you have twixtor on the layer that you are masking. Twixtor and a mask cant be on the same layer at the same time.

Did you apply twixtor to the clip? I f you apply twixtor to the clip then masking doesn't work. If you have done this then reply to me and I'll tell you how to fix it :)

lol, you're all crazy. JK, but the reason that it doesn't appear to cut out the other part of the picture is because you have duplicates of that layer beneath it, click the eye on layers below the on you are masking to turn them off and you will see that it is masked correctly.
