Instead of just trying to push the other person's hand straight down (that's only applying force on them in one direction) they're applying force smoothly in multiple directions. The elbow rises while the hand lowers so now the fulcrum point changes in motion. For the opponent it is easier to resist when you can push back against the force in only one direction at a time, but now the angle of force changes in motion and you're body can't feel where to resist in time. The more advanced is they also have a slight inward rotation of the forearm (now the direction of the force spirals) and at the end point there is a slight downward nodding at the wrist - which again slight changes the angle of that the force applies at the very last exit point. The coach is good enough at this that he do it in a smaller frame of motion that it not obvious, so to the viewer it appears as if he's just pushing the hard down like normal. Really he's moving his forearm and wrist multiple directions all at the same time. The more relaxed your arm is when you do this the better. Then you have the advantage dropping dead weight with gravity.

I want this done on me cuz I have seen to many fake aikido videos of wushu type techniques is there any place that you know that’s legit in its results and actually usable in real time combat? Cuz I wouldn’t mind learning this if it’s worth learning
@fernandosulantay4 жыл бұрын
@@keithhughes2861 in the english video i see this as a whip of cinetic energy and weight, te use for real combat is adaptation, because grab the hand of someone like that having the time is really improbable of happening xD. As i say before, is a concept that can echance your grappling (your proyections overall) and throw in sparring
