A lot of creators would have decided to skip posting the video due to camera breakage, but you pushed through and still delivered content. Showing how much you care for your viewers and also how creative and hard-working you are. So since Christmastide is a time for giving, here is a little special thank you to you Morgan. We all appreciate you and your time. Merry Christmas to all. ❤

❤ Morgan, you are loved. You are ENOUGH. You don’t have to justify your existence, your opinions, or your actions to anyone. You don’t have to earn the right to relax (as all hard workers and high achievers do). You’re a gift to the world, truly a light. I think we all struggle with being kind to ourselves at times. Have grace with yourself sweet friend 🌼

After a rough morning you were able to turn lemons into lemonade! (Or, I guess oranges into cookies and vitamin C shots) 😂 I thought the voiceover and sound effects were really fun! Your videos have been such a great treat at the end of the day. Thank you for sharing all of your creativity and laughter this season!

A bona fide "cooking technique " , called mise en place, from the French, translated literally "putting in place"...gathering all your prepped and measured cooking ingredients for your recipe into one place, (often on a tray- I use a little cutting board)...and voila! Cooking goes smoother and more relaxed, and there is never a missing ingredient 😊

You are a precious gem, Morgan! So very sorry to hear about your camera. 😢 The fact that you still forged ahead and voiced over the rest of your lost-audio footage was SO generous to us, thank you dearly for taking that extra time and energy, though you absolutely did not have to. Your videos are pure bliss and bring the smiles every time (no matter what!), because your gentle sweet spirit is ultimately what carries through. I hope you are experiencing a deluge of smiles too, even through the tears of life's mishaps. 🥲 You are amazing! Merry Christmas and sending all my love! 💞 Also, so appreciative of Day's message! It comes very promptly for me, as I've been anxiously fretting over an event that's taking place for me tomorrow. I will keep those tips in mind - big thanks!

I agree! Honestly, the voiceover was such a lovely touch. Morgan’s content is more than just cozy, it really encompasses lifestyle and life lessons. Best of luck with what weighs heavily on your mind and your heart. I’m sending good thoughts your way! The sun will still rise ☀️, and so will you.

I'm so sorry your camera broke, but you made do very well! It was a nice change up. I also adored seeing the cute portland shops! Its amazing how so many of us wanted to see the same things in your videos. Also, I know you had mentioned your scoliosis in the past, but this was my first time seeing it. Morgan, you are wonderfully inspirational! It's easy to think people who exercise regularly must be in peak physical condition naturally, but we are all dealing with our own physical struggles to overcome. Thank you for sharing yours ❤. And to Day, what absolutely wonderful advice and such a manageable way to handle anxiety ❤. One thing I do along those lines, I actually got from one of Morgan's stickers. I write out "Whats the Best That Could Happen" and take anything I am worrying about and flip it into a best case scenario. It is truly remarkable how it flips that "fight or flight" switch.

Hurray for buggering through despite the challenges of the day!!! 😂 Thank you Morgan, Landon and Roo for bringing so much joy to our lives!!! Thank you for sharing the real things that happen in your life with us and discussing your thoughts and feelings with us as you process them. It helps so much to know that I am not alone when hardship comes my way, and I can be brave and do my best and that's good enough. Your example has been such a GIFT to those of us who love you and appreciate you so much!!!❤🎉❤🎉❤ P.S. Thank you for taking us along for your shopping and to the cute gift shops and for sharing your baking experience. My husband doesn't always enjoy the same kind of food that I do, but that's ok. I used to only cook what he likes, but after many years of marriage, I cook things that I like as well and he is very happy for me to do so as long as I have something that he likes to eat as well. 😂

Hi Morgan. In my family we make brunkager and vaniljekranse every year. We go to my grandmas house and bake a bunch so everyone can get a whole box home with them. We use brown sugar and a bit of syrup in our brunkager. Sometimes we also make them fun christmas shapes with cookiecutters. God jul (happy Christmas) from 🇩🇰🎄

I'm usually a silent viewer, but I find myself connecting with you so much, that I feel the want to leave a comment on your videos. I got diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 8 and it eventually progressed to the point that I needed Spinal Fusion surgery to correct it. But, hearing that you also have scoliosis makes me feel so much more connected to you. You are my comfort creator.

Thank you for sharing the recipe. I bet they are delicious dunked in coffee. Multnomah Village has some delightful shops and it was fun coming along with you as you shopped for Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing this video just as it was. When you can show up it's amazing, when you can't because you need time for yourself, that is great, you are taking care of yourself and that is more important than anything. Granulated cane sugar is just regular white sugar. In most recipes, you can substitute brown sugar if needed. The brown sugar will give it a slightly deeper molasses flavor and it will come out a bit softer. When chocolate chip cookies call for both white and brown sugar, the white sugar is what gives more crisp and the brown sugar adds chew when baked. Using turbinado can be a bit grainy. I generally put in on top of muffins or scones prior to baking for a crunchy sugar topping. If using it as a replacement, I would suggest grinding it down more (mortar and pestle, food processor, or blender) before adding it to the recipe. The smaller granular will allow it to dissolve into the recipe better. Also, when a recipe is too dry, I would suggest adding water instead of butter. Adding too much fat can cause the recipe to not bake right. Water can be a safer option for new recipes.

Aw heck, i gotta just post again cause I got more to say. 🤪 Love your correlation of cloves to vampires. I never made that connection but now I can’t... unsmell ... it. 😂 What was the song when you started slicing the dough? It was so perfect for the feelings of whimsy and happiness in that moment. (Anyone feel free to step in and indulge me the answer. 😊 ) I've been really feeling the call of making gingerbread cookies with my 2 year old one of these days... Oof, Morgan. It was such a bad day for me today... I'm not proud with how I handled it. You're an inspiration on how you manage your own setbacks and the narration was simply so heartwarming - I feel like it honestly added such a sparkle to this vlog. It shows you as the resilient little pine tree you strive to be! ❤ Ahem. Btw, I gave such a double take when I heard you say Hazel. Did you /actually/ mean me or is there another Hazel in your life? Because if you meant me I'm so tickled to cross your mind but I'm amused and curious why the little Rock creatures conjure thoughts of me! 😆

Im so sorry your camera fell victim to misadventure. If you end up feeling the need to get it repaired or replaced I’m sure many of us would be happy to help via the purchase of some art or another puzzle edition to fundraise 💕 the star lanterns from one of the boutiques were so beautiful and remind me of a clothing/accessories shop that used to be on NW 23rd called 3 monkeys (the last time I’ve been there was the late 90’s/early aughts so I’ve no idea if it’s even still open 😅😂) but it was so artsy and cool. I purchased a headband with blue rhinestones (it was the height of my Titanic obsession I could imagine them as sapphires) and I dubbed it my bitch crown (which really meant it was my empowerment crown to wear when I needed extra confidence to speak my mind and ditch my imposter syndrome /chronic people pleasing). Thank you for continuing on despite the hardship, you are a light to so many Morgan 🥰

That's why I don't try foreign sweet recipes because the measures and ingredients are so different that I can't succeed. flour is different, sugar, milk, butter...we don't really cook with molasses. They look so good but the american recipes didn't work for me...and even the stoves are different. 😅 I see that you also struggle with the nordic one, so it's not just me who can't do it 😂❤
