Melon bread is a general Japanese bread which you would see in a lot of bakery stores here. Although it says melon, it usually does not contain any fruit inside. It is called because of the shape. The cookie dough in the outer layer makes it a little crispy and will match with the inner moist dough. Hope you could try someday.
