I am a born catholic, active in the weekly mass by singing in the choir and ringing the bell atop our church when I was younger, finished all my education from catholic schools, also was a member of an Int'l fraternity, taken my family to mass regularly. When I reached 50yo I've "turned away" from all that concerns religion and so-called brotherhood orgs, now at 62yo and despite several orgs inviting me in, and to my relief, never been happier, peaceful and contented in all my life. What I've learned late in my life is to stop expecting validation from others and the hypocrisy that comes with it, just live the life you want to live without letting yourself be dictated upon, in turn without bothering or harming anyone. My only regret is that I should have done it much sooner. 😀

It's sad to see many devoted Catholic fell into freemasonry 😢. I know madami akong close friends na nag join.They go to Sunday mass comitting sacrileges by going to communions.😢 If they die what will they say to the Lord about their disobedience😢? So it's true what is written in the Bible" Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter."

Correct po. To think na maraming perks at privileges that comes with masonry specially social, employment and business. Medyo mag-iisip sila kung kumalas sila sa group. Pero nasanla na ang kaluluwa nila.

@@kikoy08It's a sacrilege for a mason to serve as a lay person in a catholic church. The Chruch is very clear on this at ayoko din magkasala na hayaan siya mag serve kung alam kong bawal! Mukhang ikaw ata ang may attitude hindi mo kilala ang tao nagsasabi ka ng ganyan. Mason ka ba? Magpa deliverance ka mukhang walking possessed ka ata! 💯✔

Yung kakilala ko pong Mason umaattend padin ng mass. Binalaan na namin sya and sumali lang sya dahil sa line of work (sundalo). Di naman daw sila pinagbabawalan kahit anong religion. Yung partner nya is kamaganak ko kaya nangangamba ako sa soultie nila,lalo na nganak nila. Helppppp

Question po. If I recall correctly, the Vatican apologized to the Knights Templar for the past. And if the Freemasons were derived from the Knights Templar, bakit po ex-communicated ang Mason. Hope you can clarify this. Thank you po.

Your comment mixes up two different things: the Knights Templar and the Freemasons. While it’s true that in 2007, the Vatican acknowledged that the persecution of the Knights Templar in the 14th century was politically motivated and not based on actual heresy, this has nothing to do with Freemasonry. The Freemasons did not derive from the original Knights Templar. The Templars were a Catholic military order that was disbanded in the 1300s, while Freemasonry emerged in the 1600s with principles and beliefs that are incompatible with Catholic teaching. The Church excommunicates Masons because Masonry promotes ideas like relativism, where all religions are viewed as equally true, which directly contradicts the Catholic doctrine of one true faith. So, while the Vatican may have acknowledged historical wrongs against the Knights Templar, this has no connection to the Freemasons. The Templars were faithful Catholics, and the Freemasons promote beliefs that contradict core Catholic teachings. That’s why the Church excommunicates anyone involved with Freemasonry.

@@BroAdrianMilag Yes I understand that the Knights Templar and Freemasons are 2 separate organizations. However, it says in Wikipedia that one of the requirements to enter the Knights Templar is to be a Freemason whose belief is Christianity. With regards to relativism, isn't it about the same as simply respecting everyone's religion?

The modern group you’re referring to is connected to Freemasonry, which came centuries later and uses the name “Knights Templar” but has no historical connection to the real Templars. The original Knights Templar were loyal to the Catholic Church, while Freemasonry and its offshoots, including the modern “Knights Templar,” have beliefs that are incompatible with Catholicism. As for relativism, it’s not about respecting everyone’s religion-respect is one thing, but relativism is the belief that all religions are equally true or valid. The Catholic Church teaches that while we must respect individuals and their religious beliefs, there is only one truth, found in Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith. This is why relativism is seen as a problem in Catholic teaching-because it denies the existence of absolute truth. So no, relativism isn’t just about respect-it’s a philosophical stance that contradicts the core beliefs of the Catholic Church. Hope that clears things up!

@@BroAdrianMilag I appreciate the explanation. However, it doesn't clarify things well. The apology from the Vatican was issued to the "modern" Knights Templar regardless of historical connection. Meaning, the Vatican recognizes the "modern" Knights Templar as one and the same as the 12th century Knights Templar. Please don't get this the wrong way. I am a Catholic. Educated at a jesuit school. I do my best to be at peace with everyone which is why i don't see the need to nitpick on other people's beliefs or religions.

@@pinkblack0923 I have a number of friends who are Masons, and some are active Catholics, I think they are not aware of this Church's rule. I almost joined my friends because I was not also aware until I stumbled on Bishop Soc's video on freemasonry
