This type of news should be generated around the world more often to remind everyone about the environmental crisis we are facing. Everyone is busy doing there own thing to survive and to have a good life, without thinking the climate crisis that will finish everything they work so hard. All state leaders should use their power to lead their people in taking action to this serious problem. This problem deserves to be the top priority of each of the state.

Hawaii, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand are close in Phil. and all over the world will seriously experience this type of changing climate not just Philippines, Yes, the Western Pacific ocean east of the Philippines is one of the largest in the world but for sure all countries will experience a severe alter climate. Sabi pa nung Leader nila, every year, nasa 100 square meters ang amount ng Glacier o yelo ang nababawas o natutunaw taon2x at ang mga natutunaw na yun eh nadadagdag taon2x sa dagat, doon pa lang sa iisang Glacier o location na yun. at dahil nga patuloy na natutunaw taon2x, taon2x din daw massumasama o maslalakas ang mga kalamidad sa Mundo.. habang lumilipas ang mga taon na pabalik2x kami sa mga lugar na yun, nakikita ko nga ang lawak ng mga nabawas o nalusaw na yelo, at sa mga nagdaang mga taon na yun, nagkatutuo nga na maslumalala ang mga kalamidad sa buong mundo, lalo na sa mga bagyo, pagbaha at pagulan ng labis, pati sa mga heat waves.. take note, hindi padin improving hanggang sa ngayon, mastumitindi pa.

Huge factor parin yung rapid increase ng greenhouse gases na nirerelease ng mga tao through fossil fuels na ngtatrap ng surface heat ng mundo thus creating a so called "greenhouse" sa planeta natin, hence, nakuha dito ung greenhouse effect. @jbebasco9515 True. I've known it since forever. It wasn't about how large the fraction out of all the major contributors was. I mean, there are other factors, too. The 2011 Japan Earthquake has shifted the tilt of Earth on its axis by a few centimeters, and that's just one great event with a lot of effects. Every year, hundreds of major earthquakes happen around the world. Compared to the 80s, greenhouse gas emissions have greatly reduced, but i know it's not enough, especially in this digital world where we are hungry for more juice. I hope new renewable technologies cost will be reduced so that primitive technologies like coal power plants, diesel, etc, will be obsolete since we are predicting that by the 2050s , global temperature will increase by more that 1 degree Celsius considering our current rate of emissions.

Sana mas palawigin pa dito ang pag implement ng renewable energy. Sa Australia, andami na nilang nagagawang changes sa sources aside sa coal. Madami silang plans to implement more on renewable energy like pagkuha ng electricity using hydropower, etc.. kung tutuusin, kaya natin yun dito sa Pinas, inuuna lang kasi kurakot dito bago mag spend ng mga renewable sources ng energy. Pati mga Pinoy wala din disiplina sa environment. Bahala kayo jan mamroblema sa future pag lumubog ang Pinas sa tubig. Wala naman nag take this seriously.

Walang makakapigil sa pagtunaw ng yelo..renewable energy? Energy means also power, power is electricity, electricity is heat..the more we create heat the hotter it is. You cannot blame it solely to fossil fuel. Human body generate heat, higher population means more body heat..more humans means more houses to build, more trees to cut down and more electricity consumptions. In fact kahit huwag na tayo magsiputol ng puno matutunaw pa din ang yelo. Humans need oil, oil needs to be harvest either by under the sea or by land..everything we use needs oil..nothing can stop the ice from melting. Earth was covered in ice because of drastic climate change when a massive asteroid struck earth.

There are reasons why jeepney modernization was to be implented and this is one of these. Kaso kadalasan ng kumokontra ay yun ayaw mag adopt ng renewables or gas efficient kasi magastos. Nung bata ako nung 90s ang term tungkol sa ganitong mga topic was Global Warming. Ngayon naging Climate Change na ang ginagamit na salita para sa ganitong mga bagay. It's more or less 30 years ago, parang conspiracy lang lahat ito noon. Hindi ko pa ramdam na pwedeng magakatotoo nga ito. Dahil noon hindi kami gumagamit ng electric fan dito sa bahay buong taon kahit summer. Nakatira kami dito sa malamig na part ng Laguna. Pero ngayon hindi na pwedeng walang electric fan.
