There's a logic also here, in Dave's part he's intelligent and wise enough to let go of Sandy. Eguls tlga dito si Dave if ever pinagpatuloy nya pa ang nagkamitsa nang relationship nila ni Sandy knowing both her and Tom are people closest to his heart. His big heart made him the winner here, actually all the three of them won. Both the two people special to his heart he never deprived their two beating hearts for each other to be happy, and him (Dave) for having his freedom from unchasted/unhappy commitment. Kumbaga, ayaw mo alanganin na, you know nat*kman na ng iba while you're in relationships pa. Kind of undecent na u know what I mean. It takes a strong personality and a sane decision making to let go this kind of complicated situation. But he's a man who knows his worth, and still wanted to preserve a good relationship to his best friend Tom, and certainly with Sandy who's been extra special to his heart. As saying goes.. There's plenty of fish in the sea. He's a high value man, and he'll surely find a fine woman who's perfectly match and destined to be his life of his life. A wise decision from Dave. 👍 And yes, this kind of situation can still happen in real life. For me , I see that Dave is my main character here. It's like it's his story about his TOTGA, and how he let go his once great love Sandy. 😉😅😍

@@romanticism1967 I agree. and just want to add, hindi naman din siguro ganun ka issue na pangdirian or ayaw nalang bigla ni Dave kay Sandy dahil may nakatikim na nauna na, kung hindi dahil, mas nangingibabaw sa kanya yung pang-unawa niya sa best friend niyang si Tommy. Sa part na nag-usap sila dun sa ospital, dun mas nangingibabaw ang pagkamaintindihin na kaibigan ni Dave. Napabuti at talino niya para ibigay kay Tommy ng busilak at buo ang sitwasyon, di na nga niya pinasalita diba, "a thank you will do" but Tommy was speechless, kaya "welcome" na lang din sinagot niya (ni Dave). It really takes a strong and mature mindset to have a decision wise enough to not hurt anyone within the situation. And that's how Dave's character developed. It needs a totally almost the same one to complement Dave. At hindi yun si Sandy. Because she's not strong enough, as what she always said during they both have time (Tommy) together. Sandy is whom will complement with Tommy. Because that'll make Tommy whole. Sandy is what Tommy's character needed in order to shape up his growth and vice versa with Sandy. Sandy has not matured on her decision makings in life too. I mean, maybe because her character lacks guidance emotionally by those significant people in life. Her mother and her father. That's crucial to raising kinda emotionally wise person. And that is why she lacks clarity to her mind. She also prefers to explore the adventure in life too. That's why nag click sila ni Tommy noon sinabi ni Tommy na, "ayaw mo nun mas exciting yung pupuntahan natin, kung saan man tayo dalhin ng ating mga paa." That's the clue na, Sandy is not mature enough too. And she doesn't even want (or perhaps she just understand all the time) Dave's maturity on how he thinks scenarios in life. Dave even bet his whole trusts to both of them as closest person he can have. But, yun nga ehh, they're both trying to resists but yun yung makakatulong din to have a clear growth along the path of their lives ahead. For sure as they mature in life, maiintindihan nila yung how Dave is matured enough in thinking to let them be happy together. Dave is really a selfless, collective thinker, unusually dependable, friend anyone is thankful to have in life. Tommy is lucky enough to have him in life. Kaya nga ramdam na ramdam ko yung "sorry, hindi ko sinasadya. Man, ikaw lang kakampi ko sa buhay, ayoko pati ikaw mawala." and na complement din naman yun ni Dave with "ikaw lang din naman kakampi ko ehh." Their friendship are even stronger enough than their parents have had. Patunay na, best friends nga sila. Above all, kudos to all the brilliant story writers, script writers and staff and production crews. Talagang napaka witty ng bawat lines, scenarios and situations can be happening in real life too. Salamat. Talaga nang walang makatutumbas sa mga napakagandang mga pelikula o mga storya noon. 70's and up until early 00's napakaganda. Tsaka Sandy (Lea) was already smitten by Tommy (Aga) nung pinagmamasdan nya yung 2 friends ni David (Ariel) na si Tom at Ronnie naglalaro ng tubig, hanggang sa mag join din sya. When they were alone together they instantly clicked, alam mo yun bigla na lang sila nagkaroon ng instant connection. So mas compatible sila. They get each other, at transparent sila sa isaʼt isa when it comes sa mga pinagdadaanan at history nila. Yung moral lesson is ingatan mo talaga ang minamahal mo, accept them for who they are.
