When i was in my 20s i washed dishes at a retirement community in south Tulsa. The last year i was there...a gorgeous Azerbaijani woman started serving there. Instantly fell in love she was so pretty, sweet natured but not a pushover. I really enjoyed her company. Wish I'd pressed dating as she was not stuck up and seemed to like me.

This country doesn't sound good at all. If you're an American and not Muslim. Its probably best to stay away from plenty of these stan countries. I remember one American guy that lived in Russia going to some of these countries. And they were like, you're not Muslim. So don't touch our women.

Yes it’s a religious country. By nature marriage is religious, why would you be touching women if you don’t plan on marrying her ? It’s completely normal and acceptable for fathers to tell other men not to touch his daughter mainly because of religious beliefs also because it’s morally right. As a man why would you want someone to just “date” your daughter just to dump her because he already touched her it sounds promiscuous and doing that is a sin. Have respect if you do go, but like the brother said if you going just to have promiscuous sex please go to another country that condones that, if you just want to experience and actually learn you should go.
