Which is very possessive already but when Compress calls him out on it basically saying that's really egoistical of him. Deku uses an even more possessive word "kaeseyo" deku is essentially saying "GIVE MY KACHANN BACK TO ME!" This was a fan translation so it could be wrong. Though in the anime Japanese subtitles deku does say "give him back to me." So there is a high chance the translation was accurate. In canon this was the most outwards of deku's possessive behavior. There are other examples but they are more subtext and up to interpretation. Tbh deku is more protective of bakugou than possessive but it should be pointed out regardless. * puts notes away 🗒️ *

You are right! Multiple people on Twitter confirmed that in the Japanese version he straight up says, "Give MY Kacchan back to ME!" Compres then calls him out by saying, "He's his OWN person you EGOIST!" And Deku just screams, "GIVE HIM BACK!" People who know Japanese confirmed this. People who know Japanese and read the manga in Japanese and English! Have said that the English translation is kinda bad.. There are specific Japanese words that are used that don't have a good translation in English! And the Western side doesn't actually see how weird and gay coded bkdk relationship actually is! They genuinely see them as canon. I had a conversation about this with one of them...they were so confused bro? And I couldn't believe it? A lot gets lost in the translation..😭
