The final battle between Drago and Nillious was so epic because Nillious went so far by powering himself up with the mask and pummeling Drago hard. My favorite part is all of the Bakugan from all the clans uniting together with the Misfits. That unlocked a mighty power which they used to defeat Nillious. I honestly can't believe that Nillious was about to attack Dan, but he got locked in ball-form by Juno, and now he's being held at Illusion Tech. It's a shame that Vakar is in prison, but he'll get out eventually so that he can have a fresh new start with TC. And I really enjoyed the scene where the mayor lifted the ban on Baku-brawling. Things have returned to normal. Also, who is that guy at the end that got ahold of the mask? Is he the new main villain for season 2? What are his intentions with the mask? We'll just have to find out soon.

Great ending. That battle with nillious was epic. Even though evolution fusion failed to defeat nillious, the clans United and did it together. Now nillious is trapped in a ball form and in prison for a long time, and v will have some time before he shows he is reformed. To bad kage couldn’t help since he doesn’t have a bakugan, but maybe we will see him get one next season and join the misfits. Now that the rampages are over, bakugan brawling is legal again and everyone is happy. However, that cliffhanger was curious with the mask still active with a mysterious new threat. Looks like we will have to wait and see what happens next season to know who he is. I would predict that the next season will be at April or May for a 3-4 months gap.

The final episode was titled "Exploding Sphere", which means they literally named it "Bakugan". That's so fun. I can't believe how much I ended up enjoying the new show. The Gen 2 show really felt like a letdown, but this show's starting from a much stronger place. There are actually a few interesting character arcs going on, and there are some real stakes. The only two things I'm dissatisfied with are 1. Like later Gen 1 and all of Gen 2, there's no actual strategy to the brawls. It's just Bakugan duking it out while the brawlers run around for arbitrary powerups, and the brawl basically ends as soon as they get one. If the brawls are supposed to be the big spectacle of each episode, I'd appreciate if a little more effort went into scripting them. The second is Kage. They kept showing him watching from the sidelines, and I was hoping he'd have something to do in the finale. I'm sure he'll have something to do in the second season. The Misfits are obviously missing Black in their color lineup, so it's easy to see Kage partnering up with a new Bakugan and joining up after a bit of character development. I'm a little worried about the V tease at the end. I'm hoping next season's villain won't just be a retread, because V was a great antagonist, but now that his personal arc has had some resolution, it wouldn't feel right to just have another villain wearing the same mask. Overall, really solid season. Looking forward to seeing what the next one brings!

My hopes for Bakugan (2023) Season 2: 1. Kage becomes a part of the Misfit Clan. 2. Howlkor appears and becomes Kage's new partner. 3. An Insect brawler joins the Misfit Clan, with a Bakugan that's based on either a beetle or a butterfly. 4. The introduction of new clans with my hopes being a Warrior Clan (humanoid and based on various warrior-like occupations), a Reptile Clan (snakes, lizards, turtles and tortoises and crocodiles), a Beast Clan (based more on various mythical animals that are not dragons), a Flora Clan (humanoid with plant-like features), a Demon Clan (humanoid with demonic features) and a Machine Clan (robots). 5. Confirmation that Chip is indeed dead. 6. Elemental-based evolution powers.

True, but at the same time you can tell Nillious might've played a part in Vakar's corruption. Vakar had angst because he is a child and a tragedy like that would make a child see more than red. Possibly no season 2. And this gen is trash in many of our opinions. We all started liking bakugan for similar reasons and they've gone and changed everything for the worst. At least beyblade x decided to combine gen 1 and gen 2 (the best aspects of them) while bakugan added a piss poor gimmick that is underwhelming to watch/use and made the bakugan more fragile and far far more ugly (which was the coolest thing about em) now they're pretty much useless for collecting.

My thoughts of the episode well not the best finale for a first season they should’ve treated the plot armor well like gold titanium drago I did not know he was the plot armor I was hoping that shape fury would be the one or galactic or golden infinity to be the plot armor for Drago but still I think they get rid of the plot armor way too soon and with Nillious locked away in his own ball and vakar behind bars want me I was hoping for G3 Nillious to be destroyed but but get sealed away and buy his own ball that’s one way to Seal him away anyways how do I compare this finale compared to previous generations of first season finales well wish that Kage make a comeback in the season come on masquerade and Magnus made a comeback for the redemptions in season ones of generations but Kage didn’t at all and have him literally do nothing G3 Dan with no rival at all no competition at all who could rival him G1 Dan had a lot of rivals on each season and his generation G2 Dan had Magnus despite not developing well for their relationship well but G3 Dan that kinda leaves him with no rival till the next season because I thought Kage would be the rival in this entire series or at least in the season so far he’s only been rival forhalf of the season

I’m not saying it’s true but Chip or Kage couldn’t be the new V because One, Chip died in the rubble and even if he didn’t he isn’t smart enough to know advanced tech like V’s mask plus he hates Bakugan. Two, Kage doesn’t have any desire to control other Bakugan or seek revenge, not to mention he would never be like his ex partner Nillious especially when he just admitted to the whole world what his true intentions were. My guess is it’s a new character that will be revealed in season 2 and his partner would probably be Hydranoid. Think about it New guy wearing V’s Mask = Masquerade 🎭

Definitely nowhere near as good as the original, I have to give credit where it's due. I loved the underground dogfight routine this show took, as well as not glossing over the fact that children were armed with what could essentially be weapons of mass destruction. The Misfit Clan is an ok group of protagonists, though this version of Dan kinda bugged me, though I'm not a hundred percent certain why. All the same, I'm glad we had this, and I hope a second season comes.

@Digidragon55 some waves of gen 2 are horrible. But this one is either just as horrible or worse. I don't know if there will be a season 2 based on how bad they did this time around. They might just take the L and take a break. But if there is a S2. Let's hope they actually go back to the roots of what made people love bakugan. I don't understand why companies make a show/product. Get a lot of traction. Then drastically change it as if we weren't there for it's originality. Smh
