When Harpus was defeated she legit just went-(Welp…I guess I loose) While tears fell from there eyes… She just accepted her fate at that point. There was a way Chan Lee could have won against hydranoid. If she activated face of grief then Masquerade couldn't have activated any ability cards because that ability makes the opponent's ability cards useless explained in episode 16. All that would've done was force out Masquerade's Distraction Buster Fusion Ability, which negates an opponent's Ability Card. Fusion Abilities are a separate ability card category and so it wouldn't have been sealed by Face of Grief. Same with Klaus if he stopped panicking and used Anthemusa for Sirenoid to let himself automatically win, but again, Masquerade would've just used Distraction Buster. Masquerade always had a Fusion Ability in each brawl, so he was at a card advantage where none of his opponents could have won.

Okay. EVERYONE knows that if Chan put out that face of grief, she could've won, but they do it for the plot. The thing that was always inconsistent about Bakugan was the g power required to win a round. In N.V. Volt had a 1000 g power advantage over Baron, but the next life, Baron had a 50 power advantage and beat Volt... Another inconsitencey is the ability to reuse used ability cards, as Masquerade did for chaos of darkness.

Ok, any game based show is going to have a hard time keeping their games interesting yet airtight of contradictions, but this show actually did a really good job of not doing that (up until they went to the whole 1v1 battles, the vestals style of brawling is very boring and doesnt make much sense to me, the only reason I could watch new vestroia was that the story was still interesting, I wish they never moved away from the strategy aspect the first season had), besides the really stupid things in the beginning like the episode where they do a "battle sham" where double standing lets you just defeat a bakugan at no cost? Seems pretty unfair, or later on where masqurade remakes hydronoids head by discarding a card and losing hsp for basically no stated reason To answer your question of how they "use abilities twice", they technically are not using those cards twice when they refer to them, for example, drago's boosted dragon is active for the entire game after you play it, while in the case of chaos of darkness it is simply an attack name after the first time it is played (which you can tell since it doesnt actually do anything when he calls for it), but both have fusion abilities, which can only be played if you already played a certain ability, which is pretty much the reason they still state the first ability after they played it

You know I'm glad Masqurade defeated Klaus because you know truly feels to lose a bakugan partner that you care about because Klaus did the same thing to Marcho when you took Preyas away from him so Klaus got a little bit taste of his own medicine what i feel about them losing to Masqurade except Klaus because I already talk about him Julio: you just suck like not even your ace bakugan Tentaclear doesn't even talk which is stupid and you make fun of people losing their bakugan you are the 2nd worst Chan Lee: I like her character if she wasn't blind with anger I think she would have won and Fortress is an awesome Bakugan Komba: is stupid and lame and I laugh when Harpes lost make it even better I didn't feel bad that she was crying about she lost which it's even better to laugh about Billy: he the best character beside Chan Lee he was awesome and Cycloid was awesome and when Cycloid went to the Doom Dimension I cried

have you watched the rest of this season you would know that they got there bakugan back after dan,runo.marucho,shun and julie finshed their tests in the doom dimension. they made a deal with the legendary soldiers if they complete there tests all bakugan would be free from the doom dimension.

I say it's in the fine print because when hydranoid was introduced hydranoid said that he grows stronger for every bakugan "he sends" to the doom dimension meaning hydranoid has to be the one to do it or he won't get stronger.
