I used to play this on a ps4. I used pyro and that gate card that switches your power level with the opponent's. I would do a messy throw just to get low on level and get to that card, i even had a dedicated 150 base power level bakugan for it haha

I remember this. If you play on the DS version, you can only play 1 ability card per battle. It's actually easier and slightly more disappointing. In the end of the game, normally your opponent would play the darkus equivalent of whatever ability card you play, but now it's 1 card and all a surprise. On top of that the arena doesn't have as much to it in the ds version. I remembered you could ride the dragon statues in the background, but not in DS. Also all of the battles were dumbed down and not as hard. :( I wish there was a difficulty setting, that way doing everything seems more rewarding.
