I booted up the 360 to play this game (and Battle Brawlers) for nostalgia and after spending a couple hours with all the characters, I can definitively say that Maxus Helios has the most annoyingly difficult AI to fight out of all of them. Only a few characters will try and distance themselves from you instead of rushing, and M-Helios does crazy damage no matter what distance he's at. Hades, Wilda, and ofc Maxus Drago will do solid work against him though. An extremely underrated game that needs to be remastered, along with Battle Brawlers too :)

Absolutely true (which is probably why he's the final boss). A close runner-up for crazy-to-fight AI is Hades, who will just obliterate you at a distance (which is where he spawns for his first story battle so fun).

As a Wilda main I must say that there are no brakes on the pain train. Base Wilda dash attack is broken.
