this is probably the best sequel to the original bakugan series. they made it more story driven, the characters were cool. the evil organizations were awesome and the battling systems such as life gages and gauntlets are brilliant. Awesome season.

I agree but the battle system also throws me off a bit ngl. It starts to feel less like a game about strategy and more like a contest to see who can spam the most overpowered abilities. Other than that i thought season 2 was pretty amazing (minus Baron losing the Haos energy the very next episode after he got it lol)

In the second one Spectra was genuinely unsure as to whether FARBAS D2 actually worked, up until he gets confirmation presumably from his Gauntlet later; Spectra had no reason to look genuinely afraid there if he was sure that Helios would survive such severe attacks, because if he did then he'd retain his cool composure and insult Zenoheld by not even reacting to the barrage of power from Farbros. The third one is a clear sign that Spectra is losing the fight - he and Maxus Helios had just been swatted out from the sky like insects, and Maxus Helios was taking further damage from Farbros' claws so much so that Spectra desperately cried out Helios' name twice. If Gus hadn't arrived just in the nick of time, Spectra and Helios would have been done for right then and there. In the fourth one the four of them were being shot at by a battle-station/superweapon more powerful than the Death Star; Helios sensed that they were in danger and Spectra was clearly shocked out of his mind. In the fifth one Spectra and Gus' shock and awe were exemplified upon seeing half the moon behind them obliterated, with Spectra even exclaiming _"HUH?!"_ - no trolling from Spectra there either, they would have all been vaporised if they got caught in the blast. In the sixth one Spectra, just like Helios before him, were at a loss when first laying eyes upon the Alternative, and in the seventh one Gus was visibly shaken whilst Spectra was just pulling himself together. In short, those were a collection of Spectra's _"oh shit"_ moments from this fight scene alone. In no way did he feel in control in those moments as he was instead beginning to realise how far deep he had waded. Spectra may be powerful, but against Assail Farbros and the Alternative he is WAY out of his league. As much as many people may dislike King Zenoheld, they must never underestimate the power of the season's main villain. With Assail Farbros, King Zenoheld has always been the strongest individual battler in Season 2, the only exceptions being the Twelve Orders shown in the ominous encrypted video at the end of the season. In fact, King Zenoheld is probably the second nastiest and most dangerous villain in all of Bakugan, second only to Emperor Barodius/Mag Mel.

Blast canon exerts more pressure on the anatomy of the bakugan than the battle gear and makes their attack more destructive. So, zukanator should be much more powerful than twin destructor. It even blasted a hole through the indurated walls of the alternative. Helios is the only bakugan strong enough to handle it in this season. We are already mindful of the fact that Twin destructor level 3 was able to rival an attack from the alternative. So. Imagine if he had used zukanator here, it would have been difficult for even zenoheld's farbros to stand up to it.

There's actually a logical reason for this you see while farbros assailant formation is a set of armor that gives him a power boost similar to battle gear, maxus hellos is actually 6 bakugan connecting onto a 7th because of this it suffers from multi targeting attacks turning negative 500 into negative 3500 the same thing that happened in the fight with Dan kuso when he used burning infinity

I believe that he cannibalised the Mother Palace, cored it out and used all of the metal inside of it to construct the Alternative.
