I think the biggest issue with V2G is that the energy source is from lithium batteries with a well known limit cycle. I mean, you're sacrificing the longevity of your battery pack for supplying power to the grid, and is that really worth the amount you receive when you consider how much it will cost to replace the battery pack? If the battery packs were lifepo4, I would say probably yes. But, with lithium ion, I'm saying a probably to hard no.

Very interesting video! V2L is getting more popular, and it's especially useful and convenient now that power outages are at an all-time high.

I am not yet convinced on V2G use-cases. Why should I find convenient as a car owner to give energy to the grid while my car is parked? I suppose the money that comes into my pocket right? But I will soon need to recharge my car, then money will get out of the pocket again. So then?

Can you sell the Setec to Oregon in the US?

We have a 6kW Setec unit running from our Nissan Leaf in Australia. Works really well.
