Since watching _Fullmetal Alchemist_ and more adult anime dubbed with Japanese openings, I'd begun to wonder what _Beyblade_ and other kids' anime (didn't even know it was more than just cartoon in my childhood) openings sounded like in the original versions. Now, after around 20 years, I've finally seen this opening today. My life is nearly fulfilled.

This anime is animated by the same studio that animated One Punch Man. MadHouse has grown rapidly in the years with the quality in animation. I would love to see a reboot of the original with modern animation.

Yeah but by the mid 2000's, the studio had gotten so many projects and it overworked the employees. MAPPA is doing what Madhouse did these days and not to mention MAPPA was founded by former Madhouse employees. 13 episodes and seasonal doesn't make the employees less stressful if you take TOO MANY projects in one year.

Its a shame and the worst thing is that this series is in danger of being erased from existences forever. Takao / Tyson from this season is the best version of him to be honest. He is gutsy and reckless at times but you can see the burning courage from him and he love beyblade so much. The sequels Vforce and Revolution feels like he was nerfed so bad not just in beyblade strength but also his attitude.

In the Japanese versions it's clearer. In V-Force the Bladebreakers were nerfed to showcase the powers of all the new rivals they struggle their asses to beat. And in G-Revolution, Takao lets his past victories get to his head and breaks down when the rest of the team went their separate ways. Takao was made weak to let Daichi take the spotlight every so often. In my opinion, the best match in the series was when Kai beat that prodigy kid from BEGA. The rest was OK-ish.
