@@shoaibumar4920 اس شعر میں اقبال نے موجودہ نظام تعلیم پہ تنقید کی ہے جس کا لازمی نتیجہ یہ نکلتا ہے کہ مسلمان نوجوانوں کے اندر خاکبازی کا رنگ پیدا ہو جاتا ہے اور بلند پروازی کا جزبہ فنا ہو جاتا ہے یعنی مسلمان مادیات کو اپنا مقصود سمجھنے لگتا ہے اور یہ بات اسلامی تعلیمات کی روح کے خلاف ہے۔ شاہیں ایک مشہور شکاری پرندہ ہے جو بلند پرواز ہوتا ہے اور اپنا رزق خود اپنی قوت بازو سے مہیا کرتا ہے تیز نظر ہوتا ہے اور علائق دنیوی سے آزاد زندگی بسر کرتا ہے چونکہ یہ سب مومن کی صفات ہیں اس لئے اقبال نے لفظ شاہین کو اصلاح بنا لیا ہے اور وہ مسلمان کو شاہین سے تعبیر کیا کرتے ہیں ۔چناچہ اس مصرع میں شاہین بچوں سے مراد مسلمان نوجوان ہیں۔ خاکباز بھی اصلاح ہے اس کا مطلب ہے پست ہمت والا اور مادیت میں گرفتار ہو خاکبازی شاہین اور مسلمان کی فطرت کے خلاف ہے خلاصہ کلام یہ ہے کہ کالج کی تعلیم سے مسلمان کی فطرت مسخ ہو جاتی ہیں اور اسی لئے اقبال اس نظام تعلیم کے سرا سر خلاف ہیں
